Short Term Accomodation
We understand the need for short term care can arise suddenly, and for a range of reasons. Here at DSW we offer short term accommodation services, to help families that may need some assistance in the care of their family member living with disability. That’s why we offer a respite program that provides quality, short term accommodation in a comfortable and relaxed environment where your loved one will be well looked after. Whether it be a night, a weekend or a few weeks, we are here to help.
Accommodation Options
Options within the STA arrangement include private rooms, transport to and from the house location and activity areas, 24-hour support and in-home meals just to name a few.
STA is funded under NDIS plans, so be sure to check your plan or get it included if you are eligible. Some time to get away from it all may be just what you need. Call us today to see how STA fits into your plan.
All inclusive options
and includes accommodation and assistance – typically up to 14 days at a time. Our short term accommodation options provide the highest value to our clients and include a private room, 24-hour support, in-home meals, transport and activities
Staff Ratio's
Shared STA is a great way to have a break while still being able to spend time with others. Our shared accommodation has three ratios. 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4. So at any time you could be sharing with 2, 3 or 4 other people in our beautiful, large multi purpose home.
